Wulai is located about 27 KM southeast of urban Taipei. It is the only mountainous area in New Taipei City. The entire area has green trees, clear water and it is surrounded by mountains.

The top source of the famous Wulai Waterfall is surrounded by lakes and mountains, ancient trees towering to the sky, misty clouds in the forest, colorful butterflies, chirping cicadas, and birdsong, just like a paradise.

 However, this beautiful scenery is blocked by the cliffs of Nanshi River, making it impossible for tourists to enjoy it. Therefore, a plan was launched to build aerial cable cars.

The original natural landscape is completely presented to tourists through the aerial cable cars. Because the beautiful scenery is natural and the succession of spring, summer, autumn and winter has different beauty, it is like a fairyland, so it is named "Yun Hsien Resort".
