Wulaitai Station

The trolley was built during the Japanese occupation. At that time, Mitsui Gomei Co., Ltd. discovered a large cypress forest in Wulai. To transport logging machinery and wood, it began to lay light rails in the Wulai area in 1928. In 1951, due to the opening of the highway to Wulai, domestic and foreign tourists began to come for sightseeing. At that time, the section from Wulai Street to the waterfall was only connected by trolley tracks, so the trolleys that pushed wood began to have the function of carrying passengers.

Neidong National Forest Recreation Area

Nanshi Stream flows through it, and Neidong Stream flows from the south side. Blocked by the dam, a series of large and small mountain waterfalls are formed.

Butterfly Park is "Tranan", which is the transliteration of the Atayal language (Tranan), which means "surprise or a lot".
